Viburnum carlesii Fit 2B Tied
No winter branch breakage, and HUGE flowers.
Found by our friends from the former Matt Tures & Sons Nursery near Chicago, this viburnum can be tied up and not a branch will break, It's a grower's dream. Found as a sport of Viburnum carlesii var. compacta, Fit 2B Tied is a shorter, more rounded form with much larger flowers than the species. It also has amazing, deep red fall color and really intoxicating fragrance. If you have always wanted a Korean spice viburnum, but don't want to have to prune it each year, this is the one for you.
