Musa Tropi-Cools™ Mekong Giant

15' tall in one summer!

This new selection was selected from seedlings that range from the northern most point of the Tibetan Plateau, to southern, tropical regions along the Mekong Delta into Vietnam and Cambodia. It's fair to say, it is reliably hardy in zone 6. Fruits are purple, complementing a streaked, red to purple trunk, creating a perfect accent to the lush, deep olive green tropical foliage.
