Cool New Plant Alert!
Check out these new evergreens.
We have two brand new evergreen shrubs that make perfect evergreen accents, lovely pyramids for holiday decorating, and are a grower's dream. We think you NEED these in your production plan for Christmas 2024 and in your garden.
Ilex Magical® Amore - What's not to LOVE?
A pyramidal, upright, blue holly with super shiny leaves and an abundance of red fruits all winter from Kolster B.V. in The Netherlands.
Columns of lustrous, evergreen leaves hold large clusters of showy, red berries from mid-fall to late winter, just in time for holiday decorating. Ideal for screening, this narrow grower is suited for urban settings where larger hollies would be crowded. Plant in groupings to create a hedge, and don’t forget to include a male pollinator, so Ilex Amore is able to produce its showy fruit! Amore matures at 8 feet tall and 4 feet wide.
Compared to Dragon Lady, Amore is a fuller plant and has much larger clusters of fruit. Amore also grows faster and needs less shaping than other upright blue hollies.

Picea glauca Spruce It Up™
Have you always wanted the perfect "Christmas Tree" in your garden all year long? Something to dress up for the holidays with festive lights? Spruce It Up™ is a year-round evergreen that does not need a lot of trimming.
Use this cutie in your foundation planting, a mixed border, or anywhere you'd like a cone-shaped, upright accent. It grows more quickly than other selections, but no taller, so you won't have to wait as long for this dwarf evergreen to mature. This is an easy-care, drought-tolerant plant for any garden.
