Hydrangea paniculata Magical® Lime Sparkle
Chartreuse, lacy flowers.
Lime Sparkle is different. It's not too short to be seen or too tall to hide stuff. The flowers begin in early June as lacy lime green panicles and open up and age throughout the summer to apple green and then celery green with a candy apple red blush once the nights get cooler.
Where there is space, plant in groups of 3-5 to make a dramatic impression. A mid-size grower, Lime Sparkle can be planted with evergreen shrubs and perennials to achieve a desirable balance in texture and appearance.
This panicle hydrangea, in our opinion, is a perfect size. Whether you are looking for backbones for a sunny border, or the ultimate, people-height hedge to gently divide a space or keep the neighbors out, Lime Sparkle delivers what many new introductions can not.

What Makes Me Special?
Landscape Use
Pruning
No matter where you live, Hydrangea paniculatas can be pruned pretty heavily to keep them small, bushy and full of flowers. In spring, cut them back to half the size of the original plant to encourage branching and more flowers.
