Two toned flowers as the nights begin to cool.

Rudbeckia hirta SmileyZ® Star of Life

So many flowers on a vigorous, yet compact plant. The golden flowers with brown cones develop a red halo when the summer nights begin to cool.

Rudbeckia SmileyZ® Series – from plug to pot full of blooms in 10 weeks! That’s enough to make anyone smile.

Star of Life is a sub-section of the SMileyZ, where you get a larger plant, with many more, smaller flowers, often resembling an all summer blooming Rudbeckia fulgida. The golden yellow petals are accented nicely by a brown cone and then as soon as the summer nights begin to cool, a reddish-orange halo emerges to surround the cone, giving it a bi-color look.

Please note: We don't sell plants. Asking your local retailer or googling the plant name is the easiest way to find someone selling our plants.
