Angela and Linda’s Garden Notes:
Cherry Fluff is the newest addition to our line of compact, double flowering coneflowers in the Cone-Fections series from the forward thinking breeders at AB-Cultivars in The Netherlands. Lime green buds unfurl to reveal creamy white blooms with cherry blush and soft pink highlights with a lime green center. As the blooms age, the cherry blush becomes more prominent and contrasts well against the olive green foliage. Cherry Fluff finishes fast and fills a one gallon container quickly with lush foliage and a pot full of blooms.
Lime green is so trendy in decor and home furnishings now. The breeders know how trendy it is. Mix lime green with cherry pink and you get a stunning combination fit for any trendy urban garden. Not only is the color trendy, but the size is too. This plant blooms its head off all summer and stays tight and compact, growing to only 18″ tall.
